Golf Instruction at Banner

Bill Phaneuf III is happy to be joining his family at Banner Country Club after holding the head professional position at Stonington Country Club for the last five (5) years. Before Stonington C.C., Bill was a full time golf instructor at the Great Brook Golf Center in Groton, CT.Bill's years of experience teaching beginning golfers and scratch players alike will help you get the most out of your game.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are custom-tailored to your specific needs and level of experience. The investment for improving your game is:

$40.00 per 40-minute session
Playing Lessons: $60.00/hour

Group Clinics and Junior Camps

Group clinics and Junior Camps will be scheduled between April and October and offer golfers instruction on specific areas of the game. These will include driver and woods, short- and long-iron play, chipping, putting, course management and golf fundamentals. Each clinic will be 1 hour long and limited to 4-8 golfers per session in order to provide more one-on-one assistance. The schedule for upcoming clinics (posted on this link) and pricing for each is:

$10.00 per person.
